These ailments pose significant challenges to both patients and healthcare professionals, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of their causes, symptoms, and treatment modalities.

Causes of pulmonary diseases

Pulmonary diseases stem from diverse factors, including environmental, genetic, and lifestyle-related influences. Exposure to pollutants, such as cigarette smoke, industrial chemicals, and airborne allergens, stands as a prominent risk factor for respiratory disorders. Moreover, genetic predispositions and underlying medical conditions contribute significantly to the onset and progression of pulmonary ailments.

Common types of pulmonary diseases

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) remains a prevalent pulmonary condition characterized by progressive airflow limitation and associated symptoms, including coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
